Ahsan Iqbal's diplomatic passport cancelled
Ahsan Iqbal would soon be issued new Pakistani passport.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The diplomatic passport of former interior minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal has been cancelled.
The step was taken on the request of foreign ministry.
The former federal minister would not be able to use diplomatic immunity and green channel following the cancellation of his passport.
On the other hand, sources told Dunya News that Ahsan Iqbal would soon be issued new Pakistani passport.
Meanwhile, Ahsan Iqbal in his tweet said that his diplomatic passport ended after expiry date.
He declared the cancellation of his diplomatic passport a routine matter.
